Ben Gibbard sang the anthem before Game 3 of the NLCS, and Zooey Deschanel just sang God Bless America before the stretch. They're kiiiiind of adorable.
Not sure if the fans joined in with Zooey there because they were less than enamored of her husky sound or because they were inspired, but it was a rather lovely combination.

I really like Leona Lewis' new single, Happy. And her cover of Oasis' Stop Crying Your Heart Out. This is always how it starts, don't you know.
Dashy's new album, on the other hand - I'm eight tracks into Disc 1, without a winner so far. I don't know why I keep trying. The Unplugged album is all I really need from them.
I can't seem to turn off The 100 Greatest One-Hit Wonders of the '80s.
I love VH-1's nostalgia shows. Even though I've never heard of half of these songs/artists. The Mary Jane Girls? Taco? Apparently Easy Lover is a duet. Who knew?
